This superb Herkimer Diamond was mined by our team in April of 2025 from the Herkimer Diamond Mine in Middleville, NY. It was found in a particularly productive layer of the Little Falls dolostone, known as the "gemmy layer." With it's double terminations, water-clear clarity, and vitreous luster it is an ideal specimen for a collector interested in a high-quality representative of the world renowned quartz variety; Herkimer Diamonds. One termination is interrupted by the mark of were it grew in contact with the host rock.
