SHIPPING POLICY

SECTION 1 – PROCESSING TIME
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) after payment confirmation.

SECTION 2 – DOMESTIC SHIPPING (UNITED STATES)
Standard Shipping (USPS First-Class/Priority Mail): 3–7 business days after shipment, free on all orders.
Expedited Shipping (USPS Priority Mail Express): 1–2 business days after shipment, calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
All shipments include insurance. Orders over $500 require signature confirmation upon delivery. Tracking information is emailed once your order ships.

SECTION 3 – INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is planned for the future.

SECTION 4 – PACKAGING
Mineral specimens are fragile. We use padded boxes, bubble wrap, and cushioning material to protect items during transit. Each specimen is individually wrapped and labeled with handling instructions.

SECTION 5 – LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If a package is lost, contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. For damaged items, retain all packaging and photographs of the damage, and contact us within 7 days of delivery. All shipments are insured, and we will file a claim with the carrier and issue a refund. 

SECTION 6 – ADDRESS CHANGES
To change a shipping address, contact us before your order ships. We cannot guarantee updates once fulfillment has begun.

SECTION 7 – COMBINED SHIPPING
 Orders with multiple items are combined whenever possible. If shipping weight exceeds carrier limits, orders may be split into multiple packages at no additional cost to you.
