A robust danburite crystal with rare blue hue from Alto Chapare in Bolivia. Danburites from this Bolivian locality are known for their blue-gray tint, owed to inclusions of Magnesioriebeckite (a rare amphibole for which Alto Chapare is the type locality). With double terminations, a glassy luster, and well-formed faces, this danburite is an excellent representative of this unique danburite find that is quite uncommon on the market today.
