This is a professionally reconstructed specimen - The two main crystals have been reconnected along the natural contact with Jeweler's Epoxy 330. Contacts between crystals are natural planes of weakness, therefore clusters are prone to separation while still in the earth. This is an acceptable practice with Herkimer Diamonds, to preserve the rare beauty of cluster specimens.
