This Herkimer Diamond quartz specimen features a unique habit that at first glance might fool someone into thinking that it belongs in the monoclinic crystal class. With glassy faces and a funky form, it is a very neat little crystal. It has a soft cloudiness within the crystal and some contact indentations on the surfaces near the terminations from where it grew upon the host rock.
