Multicolored, metallic chalcopyrite crystals covering lustrous, disk-shaped calcites from Hunan Province, China. The chalcopyrites are liberally draped over the calcite, with the the concentration ranging from a dense encrustation to a thin, speckled appearance allowing the glassy luster of the calcites to show through the brassy metallic crystals.
