A show-stopping actinolite showcasing crisp vertical striations, intense luster, and beautiful deep-green color from the Bancroft Area. Typically, actinolite is not one that comes to mind when thinking about prismatic, gemmy crystals. This specimen, however, serves as an excellent testament to the beauty that can be held by this member of the amphibole group of minerals.
