A beautiful Herkimer Diamond cluster composed of two water-clear quartz crystals from the famous Herkimer Diamond Mine in Middleville, NY. These natural gems display fantastic clarity and an impressive vitreous luster. Small contact indents show where the crystal grew in contact with the host rock.
As typical for Herkimer Diamond clusters, the two crystals separated during the extraction process due to the hard nature of the host rock. The cluster has been reconstructed along the natural boundary between the two crystals.
