A sharply formed analcime crystal with excellent development and good luster, perched atop a cluster of smaller analcime crystals. The dominant crystal presents a well-defined trapezohedron, the classic habit of this zeolite group member. While analcime was not an uncommon find during the most productive collecting years at Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, restricted access to the site since 2007 has made fine examples increasingly difficult to come by on the market.
