Beautiful cluster of golden-yellow calcite crystals with secondary growth of snowy white calcites. The rhombohedral calcites are well formed and display a waxy luster. From the Sylvania Minerals Quarry in Monroe County, Michigan. This region of Michigan is known for its calcite and celestine specimens, with a limited number of specimens on the market due to restricted quarry access, limited to the occasional club field trip.
