Calcite and Malachite

This lovely specimen features a duo of intergrown scalenohedral calcite towers with sharp, distinct forms and stepped growth faces. Vibrant green botryoidal malachite with an earthy texture grows along the surface, beautifully complemented by metallic chalcopyrite crystals included within the calcite. This specimen originates from a recent find at an undisclosed location near the boundary between Guangdong Province and Hunan Province in China.
