An interesting specimen out of Sweetwater Mine consisting of botryoidal groupings of malachite with iridescent chalcopyrite. While chalcopyrite is among the minerals that Sweetwater Mine is known for, malachite is far less common for the locality. It is typically found as tiny spherules, with attractive specimens with a pleasing composition being much less common.
Overall a stunning piece with beautiful form, perfect for collectors interested in minerals that are not typical for their locality.
