A sharp, water-clear Herkimer Diamond, displaying the characteristic double-terminations of this quartz variety. At over five grams, this specimen is in fantastic condition for its size, with excellent clarity, luster and form.
One face of the crystal is not intact, but it does not detract from the overall appearance and display.
Collected by Jenna Thompson at the Herkimer Diamond Mine of April 2025, from a particularly productive section of the what is known as the "Gemmy Layer" in the Little Falls Dolostone.
