An excellent cluster of leifite crystals in the most desirable habit of this rare species, with distinct lustrous terminations. This specimen was discovered in the summer of 1988 at Poudrette Quarry in what is still considered to be the most significant serandite-leifite find to date. I acquired it directly from Karl Schaffer, who collected the specimen himself in July of 1988. A fantastic thumbnail from a significant find!
