This salmon-pink serandite crystal from the Poudrette Quarry displays the characteristic peachy-orange coloration of this species. Collected in 1988, the specimen shows a columnar crystal form with good color saturation and vitreous luster on many of the crystal faces. While partially incomplete, the piece still demonstrates the typical habit of serandite from this classic locality. The color ranges from deeper coral to lighter salmon tones across different areas of the crystal, with some imprints left behind by neighboring crystals. Mont Saint-Hilaire specimens from the 1980s represent an important period of collecting activity at what remains the world's premier source for this relatively uncommon mineral.
