A cluster of lustrous calcite crystals from the Linwood Mine in Buffalo, Iowa. This cabinet-sized specimen features sharp, well-formed rhombohedral crystals with glassy faces and a soft glow. The crystals are predominantly colorless to faintly milky, with excellent luster that highlights their geometric. Several are intergrown in parallel alignment, giving the piece a sculptural look. A clean and representative example of Iowa calcite from this classic Midwestern locality.
