Calcite & Barite

An awesome mineral pairing out of the Linwood Mine in Iowa; a prominent, disk-shaped calcite crystal accented at its base by a cluster of sharp barites with a faint yellow hue. Overall, a lovely, well balanced piece with excellent form. The translucence of the crystals allows light to pass through and illuminate the specimen, giving it a subtle glow when backlit.
