This crystal is of exceptional clarity and quality for a Herkimer Diamond of its size, making it the perfect addition to a high-end mineral collection. A single inclusion of black pyrobitumen sits encased within the crystal. Several contact indentations (shown in photos) show where it grew in contact with the host rock, the Little Falls dolostone. Collected October 2024. Weights 4.13 grams.
