An absolutely stunning Herkimer Diamond specimen with jet-black hydrocarbon inclusions and a partially embedded smaller Herkimer Diamond (best seen at top of crystal in photo 2). This stunning piece was collected by my dad and I in October 2024. It was in a clay filled vug, and was so clear we almost didn't see it. A favorite find from that mining trip, as I am a huge fan of Herkimer Diamonds with smaller herks inside of them. 3.59 grams.
