Grossular Garnets with Diopside

An excellent cluster of gemmy-orange grossular garnets, with an ideal luster, grouped aesthetically on the matrix rock. On side of the specimen opposite the garnets is a druse of light green diopside with tiny garnet gems nestles along the diopsides. Can be displayed upright or laid flat. An old find from the now-closed York River Skarn area, no longer accessible for collecting. I acquired this piece from an experienced collector who specialized in Canadian minerals.
