A pretty grossular garnet specimen with lustrous orange garnets peeking out from the rough. Small, light-green patches of diopside add contrast to this aesthetic little specimen. An old find from the now-closed York River Skarn area, no longer accessible for collecting. I acquired this piece from an experienced collector who specialized in Canadian minerals.
