Prehnite & Copper

Remarkable prehnite with native copper inclusions from the  Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan. Within the shiny, mint-green prehnite crystals, native copper inclusions are visible, with tiny oxidized black copper specks emerging just above the surface. Though partially concealed by the green prehnite, the copper’s distinctive color remains unmistakable. An uncommon combination of minerals, with few specimens available on the market.
