Stunning orange microcline var. adularia crystals with green epidote. The vibrant orange color of the microcline is due to the presence of copper disseminated within the crystals. Overall an awesome specimen from the Keweenaw Peninsula with lovely luster and crystallization. Found in the early 1970s, this piece was discovered on the 3rd level of the Mass C shaft, from the area coined the "Silver Forest." These shafts are now inaccessible, and very few of these specimens are available on the market.
