Barite and Cerussite

Gorgeous cerussite crystal with excellent clarity and great luster situated upon orange barite. Lovely crystal formation with attractive color and fine cerussite. Specimens of barite, cerussite, and galena from the High Atlas region of Morocco are admired for their striking assemblage of minerals. Blades of barite, in colors ranging from pink to orange to white, sit in contrast against gemmy cerussite and metallic galena. Barite is often referred to as "desert rose" due to it's tendency to form in arid environments with bladed crystal arrangements resembling roses. A personal favorite of mine due to the attractive contrast of colors and lusters of these three minerals! 33.13 g.
