Burnt-orange tipped barite crystals with lustrous cerussite crystals and weathered galena. Specimens of barite, cerussite, and galena from the High Atlas region of Morocco are admired for their striking assemblage of minerals. Blades of barite, in colors ranging from pink to orange to white, sit in contrast against gemmy cerussite and metallic galena. Barite is often referred to as "desert rose" due to it's tendency to form in arid environments with bladed crystal arrangements resembling roses. 27 g.
