Barite & Marcasite

Golden-toned barite with intricate stepped surface and unique terminations from Linwood Mine in Iowa. This funky specimen almost looks like stilbite at first glance, as it has that "bowtie" shape to it. It is dually terminated with patches of frosty crystallization, and its terminations are complex and composed of many stacked faces.
